The Rivers Tractor Trek was held on Sunday, July 9th in Rivers, MB where they raised $2,350.00 to go towards cancer care. Tractor drivers paid $25 to register their classic or vintage tractors at Redfern Farm Services located in Rivers, MB and drove to the Clack Family Heritage Museum in Oakview Municipality. Once there, the drivers were supplied a lunch graciously provided by Redfern Farm Services (BBQ beef) and prepared by Oak River Quick Freeze. Co-op Food Store in Rivers provided the water, buns, ice cream and condiments and the salads were provided by Sharon Lamb of Tempo Emporium in Rivers. While in Oakview, the Clack Family Heritage Museum held a 50/50 draw with Jim James of Alexander, MB being the lucky winner. The remainder of the 50/50 pot went towards the WMCC donation.
